The female parent is a selected clone of the amazing giant N. Spectabilis,
sold under BE-3178 and the male parent is a selected clone of the Bareo form of N. Veitchii sold under BE-3205. This item differs from BE-3636 released in Aug 2014 in that it is from a different grex of seeds using a different male parent. BE-3664 already showing colorful, large and robust pitchers.
The plants pictured for sale are all Established & Thriving with new pitchers and tendrils and have been in our care for several months. These BE-3664 are XL plants up to 9" leaf span.

N. Spectabilis is found at elevations of between 1400 and 2200 meters.
N. Veitchii is found at elevations of between 0 and 1600 meters.
On average, a N. spectabilis x veitchii hybrid is likely to prefer conditions similar to those found at elevations of between 700 and 1900 meters. This equates to temperatures of approximately 24 - 30°C (74 - 85°F) during the day, and 14 - 20°C (56 - 67°F) at night.
